who is niko fontaine?
Originally from Florida, Niko Fontaine has always had an interest in the unknown and the unexplainable. When he was very young, he made "contact" on two occasions. Once when he was 7, and again when he was 15. He never shared his stories, fearing that no one would believe him and that he would sound insane. It wouldn't be for another 8 years until he would share his stories with another person, discovering that he was not alone in his experiences. They would then form there own team, to prove to the world, and to themselves, that what they saw wasn't a figment of their imagination.

Niko and new found friend and partner, Chris Mateo, founded a ghost hunting team in 2009. PHRAT, investigated historical sites and known local hotspots for paranormal activity in Florida. Since then, the PHRAT brand has branched into multiple teams around America; with an online series also in development. Chris remains in the southeast and leads the original chapter. Niko has since moved to the Pacific Northwest; creating a new team, GHOUL, and taking his knowledge to the airwaves.

With a passion for the paranormal and no real outlet to share his experiences with the world, Niko decided to create a platform where he and others can speak about their stories and knowledge about the paranormal. His podcast, GHOSTS, ETC., centers around all aspects of the unknown; not limiting to simply Ghosts, hence the "Etc." Since the launch of his podcast, it has been met with positive reception. 2024 marks the return of the podcast that shines a light on the tales others have kept in the dark for centuries.
